ONSEN RYOKAN YUEN SHINJUKU

Our name, "Yuen," is a Japanese word meaning "origins."
A "ryokan" is a place where travelers are met with
a meal and a place to rest.
The origin of the "ryokan" is, in a sense,
the "omotenashi" hospitality culture of Japan
taking physical form.
It is a calm, quiet space,
born of an austere and simple design,
possessed of a minimalist beauty,
that welcomes all five senses across all four seasons.
During your stay with us,
we hope you enjoy the full experience of
this new "onsen ryokan,"
formed out of a studied devotion to
the true meaning of "ryokan" culture.

The open-air hot spring bath transported
from Hakone's source is
